Poetry Contest Winners!

Thank you and bravo to the young poets who sent in poems to our Poetry Contest this spring. We had 30 entries in three age categories, and it was a pleasure to read your poems. Our judges (a teacher, a children’s author, and a children’s librarian) worked hard together to decide on winners in each category.

Poetry is an excellent way to tell a story, express feelings orideas, and more. Thank you for sharing your stories, feelings, and ideas with us, young poets!

Below we list the winners in each category. We thank Orell Füssli bookshops* and Rose Haechler Galle of Füürwärch – Fireworks Ceramics Painting and Art – for their generous prize donations.
