Paper Garland
Here is a simple and fun project – the paper garland. It’s great for parties, children’s rooms, garden or as a gift. It’s fun to do and children will be happy to help.
Materials:
- String
- Cardboard or paper (you can use recovered wrapping paper, children’s drawings, shopping lists and pretty much every piece of paper big enough to cut the shape you want from it)
- Scissors or a special cutter
- Glue
Instructions:
1.Start by drawing circles (using a mug or other round object) on the back sides of the pieces of cardboard or paper, and then cutting them out with scissors. If you have a special cutter, use that one to cut the paper in the form you choose (it can also be a square or a star, for example).
2. Fold the shapes down their middles.
3. Take the string and start gluing the shapes along it, trying to keep the same distance between them. Make sure you leave enough space at the ends of the string, so it can be tied. Done!
Tip: You can use the leftover pieces to make little frames or cards or to decorate your scrapbook.
